A POPULAR Killarney hairdresser has been honoured at a gala awards ceremony for her dedication to her trade and the high standards she has set.
Anne O’Shea of Killarney Hair Studio was the recipient of an honorary award at the annual Connect Kerry Hair and Beauty Awards which were presented at a ceremony the Rose Hotel in Tralee.
Special awards were also presented to Teresa O’Sullivan, The Hair Studio, Kilorglin, Jessica O’Sullivan, JOS Beauty, Castleisland, Maria Keane, MK Beauty, Listowel and Ciara Mulvihill, Eileen’s Beauty Salon, Ballyduff.
The awards honour those who work on a daily basis in salons and spas all over the county and they recognise them for the effort they have made.
Other Killarney-related award recipients on the night included Emer Kemple, Sean Taaffe Group who won a wedding and occasion make-up specialist award and blogger Lorraine O’Connor, Lorz Loves and Lusts, Killarney.
