Ann Marie and Kevin off on a Blind Date

Ann Marie Nelligan and show host Al Porter waiting for her three contestants

TWO game-for-a-laugh Killarney contestants will go public in their search for love and a whole lot of fun on the new Blind Date series on TV3 at the weekend.

Ann Marie Nelligan, a special needs assistant, and Kevin O’Sullivan, a tour coach driver, will both appear with colourful show host and comedian Al Porter on Sunday night and they will be hoping that Cupid’s arrow will head in their direction.

Kevin O’Sullivan arrives on set

Outgoing Ann Marie (35) works with Kerry Education Board and she is currently training six days a week preparing for the Republic of Ireland Body Building Federation’s Miss Bikini contest.

She is also an accomplished Irish dancing champion and she will certainly be putting her best foot forward on the cheesy family fun programme with three eligible bachelors eager to take her on a date.

Kevin (59), a father, has been a widower for 19 years and loves ballroom dancing. He will have three glamorous females to choose from as he seeks out his ideal Blind Date partner.

The pre-recorded show will air on TV3 at 9.00pm on Sunday with Al Porter continuing to work his matchmaking magic as the audience get introduced to a new batch of hopeful daters, from all age brackets, looking for love.
