Tonight’s the night and excellent dress rehearsals indicate that everything’s going to be alright.

It’s showtime in Killarney and the cast and crew of Killarney Musical Society are all set to lead thousands of people on an epic musical journey with extracts from several smash hit musicals.
A wonderful selection box of smash hit musicals – including The Greatest Showman, Sister Act, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, Matilda and Dear Evan Hansen – is in store and there will be wonderful music and dance to keep people of all ages enthralled.
The cast of 109, including 36 children and 25 teenagers, the production – including a 15-piece orchestra – is the largest to date and it will pack them in at the Gleneagle-INEC Arena for three nights, starting tonight.
Oliver Murphy is this year’s director and choreography and Jimmy Broke is the musical director but it is a real team effort and the show just would not be possible without the major input from the back stage crew, lighting crew, floor staff and the support of the community.
Some tickets are still on sale but in big demand. They are priced are €26 each, €21 for OAPs and students and there is a family ticket available also for €74.
