TWO Killarney players have been included on the Kerry team to play Clare in the opening round of the Munster Minor Football Championship in Cusack Park, Ennis this Wednesday evening.
The sharpshooting Micheál Burns of Dr Crokes lines out at left-half forward while his clubmate Jordan Kiely will start at right corner forward.
Three of the side defeated by Tyrone in last year’s All-Ireland quarter-final will be included in the Kerry line-up.
Three players from the Spa club in Killarney – Dan O’Donoghue, Liam Kearney and Shane Cronin – will be on the substitutes’ bench.
The Kerry team is trained by Jack O’Connor (pictured) and John Galvin of Dr Crokes is one of the three selectors.
