Trad fans flocked to Killarney for the lively weekend which celebrates the rich culture and diversity of traditional Irish music and dance and it is the perfect weekend for hardcore trad fans and also for anyone who enjoys traditional culture or just having the craic.

The festival’s schools’ outreach programme was, again, one of the most popular elements of the festival with talented musicians entertaining pupils in Kilcummin on a visit to the classroom.

Headline concerts this year included Seán Keane,Taste of Sliabh Luachra, Orla and Brogan McAuliffe and Liz and Yvonne Kane and John Blake and, this Sunday night, Buttons and Bows and The Specks.
