
It’s not every day one gets to bake a cake for music superstar George Ezra but was exactly the exciting challenge that awaited hugely creative confectioner Laura Sourke at Bake Killarney who certainly hit the right note when she came up with something very special.
The smash hit English singer-songwriter attracted thousands of wide-eyed fans to the Gleneagle Killarney INEC for two incredible gigs at the weekend.
And when the venue wanted to do something special to mark the occasion, a call was made to Laura at Bake which is located on St Mary’s Terrace.

She designed and created a confectionary masterpiece featuring a beautifully decorated vanilla sponge filled with salted caramel and crushed Cadbury flake that featured scenic sights from Killarney, musical notes the INEC branding and George Ezra’s trademark brand Gold Rush Kid.
The English song writer and guitarist sold out at Killarney’s INEC for two incredible gigs over the weekend so he deserved a superb sweet treat at the end of it all.

Ezra (29) is Brit Award winner for British Male Solo Artist who rose to prominence with the release of his hit single, Budapest, which reached number one in several countries.
With the trademark Gold Rush Kid logo embroidered in gold on his Levi’s jacket, to mark his third studio album which featured the hit singles Anyone for You, Green Green Grass, Dance All Over Me and Sweetest Human Being Alive.
Ezra, who held a green and gold Kerry flag aloft on stage, is scheduled to return to Ireland for a gig in Cork during the summer – and maybe to sample another incredible cake from Bake.
He is, after all, the sweetest human being alive.
