Annette, who passed away yesterday in the care of staff at the Palliative Care Unit of University Hospital Kerry, is survived by her husband, Kurt, daughter Anita, sons Gilbert and Ralph and grandchildren Leila, Josh and Abby.

The mother-in-law of Seán O’Sullivan and Lucia, Annette was a member of the well-known Hurley family and she is further survived by her sisters Joan, Marie and Breda.

She was predeceased by her siblings Barry, Gerard, Desmond, Brendan, John, Brian, Paddy, Kathleen, Clare and Eileen.

Annette is further survived by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many great friends.

In accordance with government and HSE guidelines, and in the interest of public health, a private family funeral will take place for Annette in St Mary’s Cathedral.

The Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on Killarneyparish.com on Thursday morning at 10.30am with burial afterwards in Muckross Abbey.

The family has asked for donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to be made to Palliative Care.
