Killarney determined to change for the better

Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce is very keen to determine what is important to the people of the town and its surrounds

HERE is a very important opportunity to have your say on the shape of Killarney going forward.

In order to understand how local businesses should rebuild and change following the Covid-19 lockdown, Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce is very keen to determine what is important to the people of the town and its surrounds.

The Let’s Talk About Town survey is conducted by the chamber, in conjunction with Kerry County Council, and everybody is invited to participate. It’s a simple box ticking online survey and it will take no more than a few minutes to complete.

The organisers are particularly interested in receiving survey feedback from those in the18-25 age category and the 25-35 group.

Chamber President: Paul Sherry

“Over the past while people have heard from business owners loud and clear that they need local support now more than ever,” said Chamber President Paul Sherry.

“In order to rebuild, our town’s businesses must change and we want that change to be for the better. Now everybody has an opportunity to tell the businesses what they want,” he said.

“This is a great opportunity to get feedback from the public on what they see as important factors in creating a safe and vibrant new Killarney, one in which they feel comfortable to live, visit, shop and experience,” Mr Sherry said.

“We all need to rebuild together and this survey will serve as a starting point in changing the ways we do business and how to better satisfy the needs of our customers, locals and visitors.”

People have been asked to complete the survey, share it with colleagues and ask them to do so, share the survey link on social media and share it with family, friends and teams or groups.
