Models in Recovery to strut their stuff

Noel Cunningham: Master of ceremonies

COLOURFUL TV personality Noel Cunningham will get into the swing of things in Killarney on Wednesday when he will be master of ceremonies at a very special fashion show.

A total of 22 brave amateur models – 16 stylish women and six dapper men – will strut their stuff on the catwalk to raise funds for the Kerry Hospice Foundation.

The sixth annual Models in Recovery fashion show is expected to pack the INEC on and the models will help support a cause that is very close to their hearts as the link they share is that they are all cancer survivors.

The annual event has already raised tens of thousands of euro for the cause with the total amount generated now approaching the six-figure mark.

Last year’s event attracted close on 1,000 people so those interested in attending have been advised to ensure they get their tickets early.

Tickets are available from the INEC box office (064-6671555), any member of the organising committee or at door on the night.

There will be a wine reception at 7.30pm and the show will begin at 8.00pm with great raffle and door prizes and a wrap created by designer to the stars Don O’Neill up for grabs.
