THE relentless search for two dogs who went missing in Killarney National Park on Wednesday evening is continuing and the public has been asked to keep an eye out for them if walking or cycling in the area.
Mylo and Max are two very distinctive German Pointers with brown heads and brown and white speckled coats.
They strayed from the Dinis Cottage area at around 5.00pm on Wednesday evening and despite an exhaustive search, there is still no trace of them, much to the upset of their owners.
Several local people have joined in the search and posters offering a reward for their return have been erected in the town.
Owned by the Treacy family of Ross Hotel, the dogs who are very friendly and placid and are comfortable around people, have a contact number on their tags. It is thought they might still be in the Torc/Muckross area but they could be anywhere in or around Killarney National Park.
Anybody that might have seen the dogs or might spot them in the greater Killarney area is asked to contact 087-6955096 or 086-7733277.
Alternatively, contact KillarneyToday.com on 087-2229761 or 064-6631281, by email on news@killarneytoday.com or on Facebook and we will alert the owners who are understandably anxious to be reunited with their beloved pets.
