Gina and The Champions are one of Ireland’s most treasured acts and since 1973 in they have had number one hits, played to tens of thousands of fans across Ireland and the UK, received a multitude of prestigious awards and performed time and again on numerous national TV shows.
The band is currently celebrating 50 years of bringing joy through music and dance to the hearts of many and to mark the occasion, they will perform a much-lauded anniversary tour across Ireland which takes in the Gleneagle INEC Arena on October 14.
Coinciding with this triumphant victory lap, is the release of a very special limited edition CD set, Fifty Songs for Fifty Years, featuring all their hits. As well as featuring all of their past hits, the band have entered the studio to record three brand new songs to feature as part of the 50-song compilation.
One of these songs, From Here to the Moon and Back has been chosen as the lead single from this career spanning collection.
