
A number of insightful keynote speakers have been lined up for the Diocese of Kerry’s annual mission which will once again be held online in late January.
Growing in Love is the theme for the event which will commence on January 22 and run through until January 25.
The guest speaker on the opening night of the mission will be Dr Patricia Kiernan who is the director of the Irish Institute of Catholic Studies and a senior lecturer in religious education at Mary Immaculate college in Limerick.


She has co-written books on challenges in education, children and Catholicism and religious education.
The following night the keynote online address will be given by Fr Hugh Lagan, a priest with the Society of African Missions and a chartered clinical psychologist.
He has led retreats and workshops internationally on issues such as psychological and spiritual well-being, positive change, trauma and resilience.
The third night’s guest will be Fr Michael Conway who is a priest of the Diocese of Galway who teaches theology in St Patrick’s College, Maynooth where he is Professor of Faith and Culture.


He regularly delivers talks on the changing face of religion, spirituality and faith.
The speaker on the final night of the mission will be Triona Doherty who an author and former editor with the Redemptorist magazine Reality.
Living in Athlone, she has a Masters in Theology and has worked with CatholicIreland.net.
