A newly formed and youthful musical group, playing an exciting mix of traditional, modern, jazz and blues, is creating quite a stir in Killarney as they prepare for their biggest performance to date this Friday night.
Ráiméis features the combined talents of sisters Lillie and Jean Foley, Cillian Hickey and Rian Colleran as well as guest performer Liam Kerrisk and they work with a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, accordion, harmonica, banjo and Cajon drums in the mix.

The young and ambitious band members, all of whom are students, sing striking harmonies and offer an eclectic mix of old and modern music, specialising in familiar songs with an interesting twist.
The group members have known each other for years, having met at local performances and gigs, but they decided to form a group at the start of the summer with a steady gig in the Tatler Jack in Killarney on Tuesday nights.
Ráiméis will reach a whole new audience this Friday night, however, when they perform, as special guests, with Celtic Steps at the Killarney Racecourse auditorium at 8.00pm.
They will also be joined by the Dr Crokes Performance Group which is made up of a talented group of young dancers and singers, including solo singers Aoife O’Callaghan and Saoirse O’Sullivan and the club’s Scór na nÓg ballad singers and figure dancers.
The capacity on the night will be limited to 300 and tickets are priced at €20 or €50 for a family of four.
