60 years of summer entertainment

IT’S summertime, the livin’ is easy and the entertainment is top notch.

The famous Gleneagle Summer Cabaret returns this July and August and this year, as always, it will feature the very best of Irish entertainment.

Every night in July through the legendary Gleneagle Hotel ballroom will be occupied by a stalwart of the Irish entertainment industry.

60 years of celebrations: comedian Brendan Grac launches the summer cabaret in the company of Liam Kealy, manager, Patrick O’Donoghue, managing director, Gleneagle Hotel Group, Geraldine Tangney, manager, and Brendan Grace’s wife Eileen

Brendan Shine returns every Tuesday night while the popular Mike Denver resumes his Wednesday night residency.

Monday sees comedy hypnotist Adrian Knight provide entertainment for the whole family with his comedy stage show with over two hours of side-splitting entertainment, packed with fast moving stories and audience participation.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights will feature a veritable smorgasbord of Irish legends with performances from Dickie Rock, The Wolfe Tones, Red Hurley, Bagatelle and Nights on Broadway – The Bee Gees Story to name but a few

Grab your dancing shoes as Country Sundays return with performances by Ireland’s best loved country stars including Derek Ryan, Barry Kirwan, Declan Nerney, Robert Mizell and Shawn Cuddy to name but a few.

The family run, Gleneagle Hotel is one of Ireland’s leading leisure and entertainment destinations and this year marks the 60th anniversary of the date the venue first opened its doors.
