HER’S is one of the most familiar faces in Kerry tourism and she has personally welcomed tens of thousands of guests to Killarney over a very long and distinguished career.

But now popular Geraldine Tangney is saying goodbye to all that as she retires from the hotel and hospitality business after 39 years.

Geraldine has been part of the team at the Gleneagle Hotel since 1982 and her last position was that of duty manager in which she put the great skills and experience she has acquired over close on four decades to good use.

She was a real favourite with her fellow management team, staff members and guests and Geraldine was always on top of her game and super-efficient in Kerry’s busiest hotel group.
