The five-star Europe Hotel and Resort in Killarney has unveiled a stunning collection of newly renovated rooms that encompass luxury and some of Ireland’s most spectacular views.
The standout feature is the sensational Hans Liebherr Suite, named after the visionary German entrepreneur and engineer who founded the Liebherr Group and opened the hotel 1961.

Dr Liebherr – after whom a road is named in Killarney – first visited Killarney in the 1950s, establishing Liebherr Container Cranes in Fossa, and his deep affection for the area inspired his investment in Killarney’s hospitality industry.
He also went on to develop the Dunloe Hotel and Gardens and Ard aa Sidhe Country House Hotel.

As the largest suite in the hotel, the impressive new 2,500 sq ft space offers a blend of luxury and comfort with a sophisticated reception area leading into opulent living and dining rooms, highlighted by a grand fireplace.
This inviting space, ideal for intimate gatherings, features floor-to-ceiling doors opening on to a spacious terrace that wraps around the entire suite.

The outdoor terrace, complete with a seating area and daybed, offers breathtaking views of Killarney and Fishing Club, Lough Léin and the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks.
The suite includes a luxurious master bedroom with a decadent en suite bathroom as well as a glass sunroom on the balcony providing a peaceful sanctuary. A twin guest room with an en suite shower and bathroom ensures plenty of space for all guests.
The Hans Liebherr Suite is priced at €3,000 per night.
Other new features include the Golfside Signature Suite at €645 per night, based on two people sharing, and a premier lakeview room for €595 per night.
