UNDER the watchful eye of former Operation Transformation TV contestant and Kerry GAA legend Paudie O’Mahoney, as well as local leaders Susan O’Sullivan and Emma Daly, members of Spa GAA Club are getting the new year of to a healthy start with a great imitative to gather the community together.
The club has hosted the first of many Ireland Lights Up walks, in conjunction with Operation Transformation and almost 150 people of all ages and fitness levels, took part in following a looped walking trail set up around the club grounds. The gathering concluded with refreshments in the clubhouse.
The walking track will be lit up every Thursday night between 7pm and 9pm until February 21 and the weekly walks are open to the whole community.
